What are Deemed or Out of Contract Rates?
Our Deemed Electricity Rates
If you recently moved into a property that we supply with electricity, but haven’t agreed a contract with us, we won’t leave you without power. You’ll be on what’s known as a ‘Deemed Contract**. We’ll charge you our Deemed rates until you agree a contract with us, or until you switch to a new supplier. You can find the link to Deemed Terms and Conditions on our website. Please note that these rates are not fixed so may change at any time, so check our website for more details.
** According to Paragraph 3 of Schedule 6 of the Electricity Act 1989.
